Background information about the Givers World Mission School
The Givers World Mission was founded by Evangelist Saint Turay in South Korea on the 6th, January 2008. The Mission started as a prayer group after Evangelist Saint Turay shared the story of the war in Sierra Leone with his friends. This prayer meetings led to fundraising programs to support a children’s church in Kambia town. While we kept the prayer meeting, during a visit to China, Evangelist Saint Turay revealed the vision of God, that, the church should be established with a school. The fundraising program has graduated from supporting children’s church to establishing a school in Kambia town.
In June 2008, Evangelist Saint Turay sent some money to purchase land to mould bricks for the construction of the church and the school. In January, 2009, the construction started. Mr. Aliman Keh Turay, elder brother of Evangelist Saint Turay was the manager and mission coordinator by then. On 10th, September, 2010, “The Givers World Mission School” was founded. Since then, this school had become the center of hope for early child and primary education. We became the first private Pre-primary and Primary school in the township of Kambia, if not the whole district.
In 2015, we attempted our first National Primary School Examination (NPSE) under the Saint Augustine Primary School in Kambia with four candidates namely; Abubakarr Sesay, Kadiatu Favour Barry, Agnes Kamara and Samuela Jatu Essah.
